Uluru, also known as Ayers Rock, is a natural wonder and sacred site located in the heart of Australia`s Red Center.
Rising from the arid landscape of Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, this iconic sandstone monolith holds deep spiritual and cultural significance for the Anangu Aboriginal people, the traditional custodians of the land.
Uluru stands at approximately 1,142 feet tall and extends further beneath the ground. Its sheer size and stunning red hue make it a captivating sight, especially during sunrise and sunset, glowing in shades of orange and red.
The new Wintjiri Wiru attraction here illustrates the ancestral story between Kaltukatjara (Docker River) and Uluru thanks to more than 1100 drones, lasers and light projections.

Tucked away in the Rif Mountains to the North, lies Chefchaouen, the Blue Pearl of Morocco.
A charming walled city with narrow cobbled streets and buildings painted in every shade of blue imaginable.
The explanation behind this blue city remains unknown, but there are a few theories. One theory traces back to Jewish refugees that settled here in the 1930s, painting their houses blue as an expression of their faith - blue is considered a holy color in Judaism and symbolizes the sky and the heavens. Another more obvious theory is the aesthetic appeal, and a lesser one is that of repelling insects. Blue paint may contain natural pigments, such as indigo, which can have insect-repelling properties.
Whatever the truth may be, the residents of Chefchaouen keep the tradition alive by painting the town blue twice a year.
Beyond its blue façade, Chefchaouen offers a gateway to the rugged beauty of its surrounding mountains. Hiking trails invite outdoor enthusiasts to explore the nearby pristine wilderness, complete with striking waterfalls and imposing cliffs.

In the wake of the devastating earthquake that impacted Morocco, we dedicate this week to honoring its vibrant culture, storied history, resilient people, cherished traditions, and the myriad attractions that captivate travelers from both close and afar.
From the 12th-century Great Mosque of Koutoubia in Marrakech, to the timeless allure of La Mamounia. From the bustling Medina of Fes bursting with color and craft, to a stunning sunset, dates and mint tea in the Sahara shared with nomadic Tuareg. From the “Blue Pearl of Morocco”, otherwise known as the blue city or Chefchaouen, to the glistening shores of beachy and laidback Essaouira. We love Morocco for its extraordinary cities, luxury riads, exquisite architecture, scenic landscapes, mouthwatering cuisine, warm and welcoming people, and above all their enthusiasm and energy that make every night, whether in a cafe adjacent to the Medina, or a tented camp in the Sahara, one to remember.
Our founder @mark_lakin landed for his 11th annual visit to Marrakech as the earthquake struck the mountains of Morocco, and the words he heard echoed over and over again by just about every Moroccan he spoke with throughout the week that ensued were “Please don’t abandon us now… we are ready to welcome you!”
Morocco relies significantly on tourism as a crucial sector of its economy. Contrary to what you may have seen reported by the media, now is a safe and enjoyable time to visit. Everything in Marrakech is open, prices are down, sites are less crowded, and your presence and dollars are more needed than ever.
May those that tragically past rest in peace. #moroccoearthquake
