LUXURY TRAVEL IN MOROCCO

Morocco is seductive, from the labyrinthine souks of Marakech to the windswept dunes of the Sahara. We love walking the iconic blue city of Chefchaouen, relaxing on the glistening shores of laidback Essaouira, and exploring villages of the Atlas Mountains that seem suspended in time. Diverse landscapes and a rich cultural tapestry of Berber, French, and Spanish influences set the stage for a breathtaking journey across magnificent Morocco.

Morocco is a dream destination for design enthusiasts. Test your bargaining skills on handmade rugs, leather goods, jewelry, clothing, and sumptuous textiles, with the help of our expert guides. Foodies will awaken all of their senses while learning the secrets of Moroccan cuisine at a private cooking class and dining at world-renowned restaurants, or let us surprise you with a private picnic on golden sands or a popup candlelit dinner in an enchanting palm oasis. Romance oozes across this spellbinding country, where you can spend a night in the desert in a luxury Bedouin tent under a sky full of stars and take a sunrise camel ride or hot air balloon across the world’s largest hot desert.

Lavish riads once owned by kings provide a mystical home for some of Morocco’s best luxury hotels, where private internal courtyards feature swimming pools, flawlessly manicured gardens (some of which are up-kept by a team of 200!), and indulgent hammams… adding modern-day luxuries while honoring and preserving the traditional architecture that makes Morocco so unique.

PLANNING YOUR TRIP

WHEN TO GO

We recommend avoiding Marrakech, Fes and the desert during the height of summer (July-September), when the heat can be quite uncomfortable, though it’s a great time to visit coastal cities such as Essaouira. Generally speaking, spring (February-June) and fall (September-October) are the best times to visit, when the weather is mild, and the landscapes are covered with vibrant blossoms. Winters (November-February) are mild though temperatures drop drastically in the North and the Atlas Mountains see a lot of snow.

GETTING THERE

While there are no direct flights from the US to Marrakech, we recommend flying direct to Casablanca, and then taking a car to Marrakech (~ 2.5 hours), enjoying the beautiful scenery along the way.
