Whether it’s your first safari or your fifth, varying your activities while on safari means seeing the Big Five and all of their friends and foes in the animal kingdom from different vantage points. In fact, there are many ways to see wildlife beyond the traditional safari vehicle. Glide over the flood plains in a traditional mokoro (a traditional tribal canoe made from a dug-out tree), roll through the bush on a Segway or a quad bike, float over vast swaths of earth and giant herds of animals in a hot air balloon, explore the plains on horseback, set out on foot with an expert guide from a local tribe, or soar over the landscape in a helicopter. We can also arrange for a light aircraft with windows specifically designed to be used with cameras.
